What started as helping kababayans navigate Japan has grown into a full-service tour company that has hosted over 2,400 Filipino travelers and counting.

Terms, Policies & Conditions
Please read before booking. These terms govern all services provided by Tours By Jano.
1. Terms & Conditions
1.1 General Inclusions
All inclusions are subject to availability and may vary depending on the itinerary, location, and seasonal conditions. Services not explicitly included may be arranged upon request and will incur additional charges.
1.2 Overtime Charges
Overtime beyond the agreed tour duration will be charged per hour as follows:
- 1–9 pax: ¥5,000 per hour
- 10–13 pax: ¥10,000 per hour
- 14–25 pax: ¥25,000 per hour
Overtime must be approved on-site and is payable immediately or added to the final bill.
1.3 Professional Tour Guide
A licensed professional tour guide is available upon request for ¥35,000 per day. Requests must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
1.4 Pricing Disclaimer
All rates are subject to change without prior notice due to operational cost adjustments, government regulations, or currency fluctuations. Confirmed bookings will retain the agreed rate unless changes are required by law or external providers.
1.5 Liability Disclaimer
Tours by Jano shall not be held liable for personal expenses, loss or theft of belongings, delays due to traffic or external factors, or injuries or accidents during the tour. Guests participate at their own risk.

Tours by Jano reserves the right to modify itineraries, delay or cancel tours due to events beyond its control, including weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, or traffic conditions. Proper notice will be given whenever possible.
1.8 Cleaning & Damage Policy
A mandatory cleaning fee of ¥40,000 will be charged if excessive cleaning is required due to guest negligence, including spilled food, vomit, smoke odors, excessive trash, or damage beyond normal use. This fee is assessed after inspection and must be settled immediately.
1.9 Late Arrival Policy
- A 15-minute grace period is allowed from the agreed pick-up time.
- Beyond 15 minutes, the tour duration may be shortened accordingly.
- Beyond 30 minutes, the booking will be considered a no-show and is non-refundable.
1.10 Emergency Contact Protocol
Guests must inform the driver or guide immediately in case of an emergency. Clients must provide an emergency contact prior to the tour. Hotline details will be shared upon booking confirmation.
2. Reservation & Payment Policy
2.1 Deposit Requirement
- Tour Services: ¥10,000 or ₱4,150 per day
- Airport Transfers: ¥5,000 or ₱2,075
Reservations are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
2.2 Payment Terms
The deposit will be deducted from the total amount. The remaining balance must be paid in Japan on the day of the tour, unless otherwise agreed.
2.3 Payment Methods
For Filipino Guests: GCash · BPI (PHP) · Credit Card (charged in JPY)
For International Guests: PayPal · Credit Card
2.4 Credit Card & PayPal Fees
All card transactions are billed in Japanese Yen (¥). Payments via PayPal or credit card are subject to an additional 8% processing fee.
2.5 Deposit Policy
Deposits are non-refundable. Bookings may be rescheduled once at no additional cost, subject to availability. Requests must be made at least 10 days prior to the tour.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
3.1 Cancellation by Client
- More than 30 days before the tour: Full refund (less administrative/bank fees)
- 15–29 days before the tour: 50% refund
- 7–14 days before the tour: 30% refund
- 6 days or less / No-show: No refund
3.2 Cancellation by Tours by Jano
In cases of cancellation due to force majeure or safety concerns, clients will be offered rescheduling (subject to availability) or a full refund (excluding non-refundable third-party costs).
3.3 Rebooking / Changes
Requests must be made at least 10 days prior to the tour, subject to availability. Additional charges may apply depending on the changes.
3.4 Non-Refundable Items
The following are strictly non-refundable once confirmed: entrance tickets, hotel bookings, flights, and third-party services.
3.5 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
